Open Enrollment & Lottery

PTAA holds an open-enrollment period each year. If the number of applications for a grade level exceeds the number of available seats, a random public lottery is held to fill the available seats and to establish a waitlist.

Enrollment Priorities

• Returning students currently enrolled at PTAA
• Siblings of currently enrolled students
• Children of PTAA staff (as permitted by policy)
• All other eligible applicants by random lottery

Families are notified of lottery results and offered seats according to their lottery position. Specific dates and details are announced each enrollment season.
