About Us
PTAA Colorado is committed to academic excellence, financial integrity, and public transparency. As a Colorado public charter school, we report to the Colorado Department of Education and our authorizing district.
As a Colorado public charter school, PTAA is accountable to the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) and its authorizer, School District 49 (D49). To provide meaningful oversight, PTAA meets requirements for academic performance, financial integrity, public accountability, and transparency.
PTAA participates in Colorado’s statewide assessment program (CMAS) and reports school performance in accordance with state requirements. Results and the school’s performance framework are published each year by CDE through the SchoolView data center.
Each year, PTAA’s annual financial report is audited by an independent auditor, and the resulting financial and compliance report is made available to the public. Budgets, audits, salary schedules, and Federal Form 990 filings are posted on our Financial Transparency page.
As a recipient of federal Title I, Part A funding, PTAA posts links to state, district, and campus report cards, makes hard copies available to parents on request, and notifies parents of the availability of these report cards.
